Dance Music Authority Magazine (DMA) recently celebrated three years of blissful “reincarnation” thanks to the insanely powerful and extensible online publishing platform, WordPress. In print, Dance Music Authority existed from 1993 until February of 2003.
Today. Dance Music Authority goes bang at the easy-to-remember cyber namesake, DanceMusicAuthority.com (also, DMAclub.com).
In July of 2007, the DMA Media Group LLC was established by DMA’s founder Gary Hayslett, and longtime DMA technical writer, Johnny Medley. “Reincarnating a deceased print publication is now easy task, but we found WordPress at the perfect time–in April, just after the 2008 Winter Music Conference,” Medley noted. “We immediately gained traction after jumping on the platform, and we’re definitely WP for life!”
